Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran menulis teks persuasi menggunakan aplikasi CapCut pada peserta didik kelas VIII SMP PGRI 6 Bogor. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian dan pengembangan (research and development), yang mengadaptasi model pengembangan ADDIE. Model ini terdiri dari lima tahap, yaitu analysis, design, development, implementation, dan evaluation. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu angket validasi dari ahli media, ahli bahasa, ahli materi, angket respon dari peserta didik dan guru, serta uji N-gain. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa validasi ahli media mencapai 90%, dengan kategori “sangat layak”, Validasi ahli bahasa mencapai 94%, dengan kategori “sangat layak”, Validasi ahli materi mencapai 98%, dengan kategori “sangat layak”. Angket respon peserta didik menunjukkan nilai 80,46%, dengan kategori “efektif”. Angket respon guru menunjukkan nilai 97%, dengan kategori “sangat efektif”.
